WHY THIS COURSE EXISTS

There is a real and growing demand for practical self-defence training in the UK. Too many people feel vulnerable, and many existing courses are unrealistic, overly complex or simply don't prepare people for real life.We created this instructor programme to train capable, credible instructors who can deliver effective, down to earth self defence to everyday people in their communities.We developed it from our own vast experience and the documented training we do with:

IS THERE REALLY OPPORTUNITY OUT THERE?

Professional self-defence training can be delivered in a number of different ways, and the value of that training can vary considerably depending on who you are working with, where you are delivering it and what the client needs.To give you two genuine examples from our own recent work:
We recently delivered three one-hour corporate self-defence sessions in London for £1,650.
We have also agreed a programme of ten one-hour sessions for a local authority at £300 per session; a total contract value of £3,000.These are not theoretical figures. They are examples of real work we have secured and delivered.That does not mean every instructor will immediately attract the same clients or charge the same rates. Your location, experience, confidence, network, marketing and the type of client you approach will all play a part. But it does demonstrate that there is a genuine market beyond simply running a weekly martial arts class.For someone who wants to build this alongside an existing job or business, even a relatively small number of paid workshops or contracts each year could turn the qualification into a strong additional income stream. In the right circumstances, the cost of the course could potentially be recovered from only a small number of professional bookings.You DO NOT have to build a full-time self-defence business for this to make financial sense. For many instructors, it could become a highly valuable part time income alongside what they already do.
